You should also focus on keeping your knees together during the movement and keep your hips from scooting back and forth -- keep them under your knees at all times. Finally, your back should be somewhat rounded during the exercise. It may be helpful to have someone holding your legs down, so a workout partner is ideal in for this exercise. However, with a concentration on slow and steady, a workout partner is not necessary.
