Divine Vision 12 Review

by Selva Raj (2019-02-04)

Many people suffer from common vision problems caused by imperfections in the cornea. Divine Vision 12 These imperfections, known as refractive errors, cause the shape of the cornea to not be perfect which can lead to blurred or distorted images on the retina. The three types of vision problems caused by these refractive errors are myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. Myopia, or nearsightedness, causes difficulty seeing objects that are far away. Hyperopia, or farsightedness, causes difficulty seeing objects that are near. Astigmatism causes multiple images on the retina due to a distorted corneal or lens shape. This causes objects near or far to appear blurry. Lasik is a procedure that was developed to correct the imperfections in the cornea thus eliminating these vision problems. The Lasik procedure uses a highly specialized laser to reshape the cornea and allows people to see clearly without the use of eyeglasses or contact lenses. The reshaping of the cornea changes the focusing power of the eyes to correct refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. Should you elect to undergo this procedure, your ophthalmologist will first perform an examination to determine if you are eligible for the surgery. When you arrive for the Lasik procedure, the doctor will administer numbing drops into the eye. An instrument called a lid speculum will be used to hold the eye in an open position. Then a suction ring will be placed around the cornea of the eye that is to be worked on. Next, an incision will be made in the cornea to create a corneal flap. The flap will be folded back so that the laser can be used to smooth out the imperfections in the cornea. Enough tissue will be removed from the cornea to correct the refraction errors. Once completed, the corneal flap will be replaced and a shield will be put over the eye to protect it while it heals. The entire procedure can be completed in less than 30 minutes!
